ITU ARI Teknokent has been supporting technology companies and entrepreneurs since 2002 by providing a dynamic environment and comprehensive opportunities for the development, commercialization, and globalization of innovative technologies. As the Technology Development Zone of Istanbul Technical University, ITU ARI Teknokent aims to strengthen Türkiye’s global competitiveness in technology and innovation.
Operating across 10 buildings on the ITU Ayazağa Campus, ITU ARI Teknokent hosts more than 420 technology companies, over 8,400 employees, and upwards of 6,300 R&D projects, making a significant contribution to the technology and innovation ecosystem. With an export volume exceeding USD 1.4 billion, the companies within the ecosystem continue to create substantial added value for the national economy.
ITU ARI Teknokent offers a comprehensive entrepreneurship support ecosystem specifically designed to foster the growth, scalability, and internationalization of technology-driven ventures at every stage. Early-stage entrepreneurs are supported through the ITU Çekirdek Incubation Center, while international startups are provided with a gateway to the ecosystem through ITU Seed. At Big Bang Startup Challenge, Türkiye’s largest entrepreneurship event, startups gain access to financial resources and strategic networks, while growth-stage ventures continue their development journey at ITU Magnet Advanced Stage Entrepreneurship Center.
Technology companies with global expansion ambitions benefit from Global Hub | Innogate, which facilitates access to international markets. In parallel, ARI Technology Transfer Office (ARI TTO) supports ecosystem companies and startups in managing patenting and intellectual property processes. Furthermore, high-potential and scalable ventures are able to accelerate their growth through investment opportunities provided by ARI Fund.
The ecosystem’s international reach is further reinforced through the International Projects Office, which facilitates international projects, strategic collaborations, and consortium development opportunities.
